ChicKen ScRatch Slings are wonderfully designed and constructed carriers with a very short learning curve. Our slings are adjustable, unlike some other types of carriers, so they will grow with your baby, up through toddlerhood.
COMFORTABLE- Breathable linen and soft cotton are great on a hot day. On a cold day, the sling can be worn under your jacket. Our slings are lightweight, not bulky, yet they're incredibly strong. Linen is the strongest lightweight fabric you can buy. Linen is woven in several directions so it doesn't rip or tear easily. Our denims are a lightweight breathable denim weave, not your hot mama jeans denim. Strong and durable.
EASY TO USE- Chicken Scratch Slings are super easy to use and have a short learning curve. Some carriers have multiple buckles and straps and it's difficult to figure out to adjust them properly. Even with all those buckles and straps, you still can only use them in one or two positions. Our slings have one adjustment- pulling the fabric through the rings. Yet every part of the sling is adjustable through the rings. Simply pull on the part of the fabric that needs adjusting and get the perfect fit. Wear your baby in front of you facing in or out, on your hip, lying down in the cradle position. Nurse discreetly and hands free!
DISCREET NURSING- USE THE TAIL AS A NURSING COVER. The long flowing tail on a Chicken Scratch Sling can be thrown over your shoulder to be used as a nursing cover. You can also adjust the fabric so that you can see your baby's face but you are covered while nursing.

TRIMMED RAILS (EDGES) FOR EASY ADJUSTING The trimmed edges, called rails, make adjusting a snap! They allow you to quickly identify where each rail is so that you can easily pull on the top and bottom of the sling to get it tighter, or loosen up the fabric in one step. The rails, along with the shoulder band, are part of our identity and signature to each sling! This makes our slings not only detailed and beautiful, but also more functional and easily recognizable!
