Tummy 2 Tummy
The Tummy to Tummy position is the most common carry for babies and toddlers. It allows for your child to be close to your heart and gives a great opportunity for lots of kisses on the top of his head!
Hold your baby with one arm so that he is facing you; you will want him in the burping position
Carefully place him in the sling, by reaching under the pouch of the sling with your other hand, guiding him feet first, making his heart next to yours.
Once you have done so, make a "seat" for the baby by making sure the sling is tucked nicely under his bottom with the fabric at the backs of his knees.
Pull the rails, individually, tightly through the rings to create a tight hold for your baby.
If your baby is younger, you may need to pull the top of the pouch over his shoulders so that you create a sturdy support for him, but make sure that it is not pulled too tightly, forcing his head or body down.
